Paul Mazonson came to work at his fatherâs insurance agency in 1975 mostly because he didnât want to go to graduate school. He had just finished a psychology degree at the University of Vermont, and with no compelling drive to continue, joined Eigner & Mazonson in Lynn, Massachusetts.
His father wasnât that keen on hiring him, either. âPaul had gone to school to âfind himselfâ and have a good time,â says Barney Mazonson. âHe worked very hard at both.â Still, he was glad his son would have a job.
