Join Drexel Morgan’s Erich Hickey, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer, and Joseph Zaccardi, Portfolio Manager, along with Family Business Magazine’s Publishing Director, David Shaw, for a discussion on the current and future investment environment for family offices.
The global pandemic has impacted capital markets, family offices, companies and individual family members in different ways. Additionally, policy responses have created winners and losers. Currently, many parts of the capital markets are in distress or remain illiquid. Select asset classes offer attractive risk adjusted returns relative to stocks and bonds.
This webinar will explore from a family office perspective the current state of the capital markets, highlight specific asset classes which remain dislocated and identify additional asset classes that are likely to offer attractive returns in the coming quarters and years.
We will cover:
- Where are we now?
- Does the typical recession playbook apply to a pandemic?
- How does the current opportunity set differ from the global financial crisis?
- What areas of the capital markets offer attractive returns currently? What are the risks?
- What opportunities will likely arise in the next 1-2 years?
