Yoh has more than 8,000 employees in 30 U.S. locations. Starpoint has 800 employees. Yoh's annual revenues are $750 million; Starwood's revenues are about 10% of that figure, the article said.

Yoh handles staffing and outsourcing for a variety of industries; it specializes in IT, engineering and health care professionals. Two-thirds of its business now involves facilitating business-to-business outsourcing for projects lasting up to 18 months, the article said. Starpoint will provide scale in the Northeast U.S., Chicago, Charlotte and Houston and will give Yoh a larger presence in the financial services and computer software industries, the article said.
