NACDS membership consists of nearly 200 chain community pharmacy companies. Chain community pharmacy, the largest component of pharmacy practice, consists of approximately 20,300 traditional chain drug stores, 8,300 supermarket pharmacies and 5,500 mass merchant pharmacies.
