The International Kellogg-Recanati Executive MBA Program, a partnership between the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration at Israel’s Tel Aviv University, offers an online Executive MBA Handbook at http://www.kr04.net.

The website offers summaries—for free—of 27 courses from the executive MBA program, designed for mid-career executives who are preparing for senior management. It features a one-page summary of each course, typically including five key points, as well as a longer description. The summaries, prepared by students, have been approved by the professors, who are senior faculty members of the Kellogg and Recanati schools.

Courses are organized into seven subject areas: marketing, accounting, finance, organizational behavior, general management and strategy, business economics, and statistical decision.

What’s your score on family business trivia?

If you spend 100 hours or so per week working with members of your gene pool, you probably are more a family business expert than you know. And if you’ve been reading Family Business Magazine, you should be at the head of the class in taking this little quiz we put together for our tenth anniversary. The quiz, by Ira Bryck of the UMass Family Business Center, was published in the Autumn 1999 issue of Family Business.
