Mars phasing out artificial colors




Family-owned candy company Mars Inc. plans to phase out artificial colors in its products over a five-year period,

the

Wall Street Journal

reported.


The company, which generates more than $33 billion in annual sales, will make the change in all its “human food” brands, including Wrigley, Doublemint, Snickers, Twix and Uncle Ben's, the article said. The company also owns pet-care brands, including Pedigree and Iams. (Source:
